By heart to heart
Sleek, sophisticated, large enough to carry a few file folders and make it look effortless. Beautiful warm amber color makes for a great accessory. After a few weeks of steady use, the bottom began getting a squished appearance, so I put tissue paper in the bottom corners to fill them back out.

I bought this amber bag for myself last year for Christmas. If I could afford it, I would buy one in various colors for all my friend. I used it as a Summer Bag in 2012. I got a compliment the first time I wore it when I went to the hair dressers. Then I got compliments at the grocers, at the doctors OFFICES, at the pharmacy...wherever I went the compliments just kept coming.
THE LEATHER IS LUSH AND SOFT. Mine has purple stitching around the zipper closure at the top. I thought I would hate that, but it is fine. Also, I have read reviews of this item on other sites and not all have purple stitching, some have amber. I guess you just get what you get depending upon whom you purchase it from.
POCKETS: This bag is a Blessing because of its pockets. I HATE the kind of bag that is made with three huge divisions or pockets. I am not referring to that. One the side, there is a pocket that goes about 2/3 the way up the side and then closes with a STRONG MAGNET. It closes that outside pocket that you can pop things into that you NEED to get to, cell phone or water perhaps, then you close the pocket. When I hear that super strong magnet close, I know all is well. This out side pocket also has two small ones within it. I drop extra keys, meds, Pandora beads etc in them and never worry and have never lost a thing. These little pockets also easily contain a driver's license or credit cards for easy accessibility. Inside the main body of the purse are 7 more pockets, some zip and some do not. SOme are so small they hold only one pen; others hold change, credit cards or whatever you need.
ORGANIZATIONAL SUCCESS: I have a really difficult time keeping purses in order. They seem to end up stuffed with receipts, lipsticks, lip gloss, change, water, a billfold, credit card holder, holder for cards from company reps. I am one of those "all but the kitchen sink" people that I loathe. But this bag is dear to my heart because I can ORGANIZE IT AND KEEP IT ORGANIZED.
SIZE: NOT HUGE. Instead of being a super wide purse, the holding capabilities of this one are in its height, which is about 15". The Width (Long zipper size at top of purse) is about 11 inches. The internal width, inside where all the stuff is, is about 4-5 inches. I thought the height would be a real detriment and that I wouls spend a load of time looking for things, but it has SOOOO many convenient pockets, expecially the outside one with the magnet, that digging is not an issue. It gets organized and stays that way as a function of both its size and the creativity of the designer.
At various sites, I have seen it in red, stone, black, a warm brown, and turquoise. I really, really wanted the red one but dithered and did not get it. So, if you want this in Amber, georgeous, georgeous Amber, get it now before it is gone. It is the nicest purse I have ever had because of design and the softness of the leather. I have paid over $1000 a single purse (and yes, I think that was STUPID and Wasteful). I will never do it again, no matter the brand. This purse, in one color or another, will be with me for a few years I believe as an ongoing staple. Right now I am deciding between the stone (found at 6PM) or the turquoise here. The turqoise costs mose, but it has been my experience that these go on sale a bit before Christmas and then it will be cheaper. On the other hand, if I don't make up my mind, BLACK may be all that remains and I have red hair and golden toned skin and look AWFUL IN BLACK. So, I will decide and go for it.
DECISIONS, DECISIONS: If you want this great item you need to decide too, or else, you to may be stuck with your own personal black equivalent. So HURRY and get this before it goes. It is one of those things it is worth going for. Here is the aqua one.HOBO Carlotta Tote
